The dosing of antipsychotic medication: How much is too much? How low can it go?

Many people with recent-onset schizophrenia can have good response to doses that are lower than those typically recommended.

Anyone whose symptoms have been in longer-term remission from an initial dose of antipsychotic medication should be offered the opportunity to explore gradual dose reduction to discover their lowest effective dose.

This lecture addresses the questions: what is the right medication dose? How much is too much? and How low can it go?

Here are the slides from the 17 April 2018 lecture about antipsychotic medication dosing.
